LISA PATTEN
Susan brings a unique blend of expertise in move management, organization, and space planning, combined with a deep passion for working with older adults. With a Bachelor of Science in Family and Community Services from Syracuse University, specializing in Gerontology and Social Work, Susan has over 25 years of experience in move management and facilities roles. A Newton native, she has a lifelong connection to her community and volunteers regularly. Organized, efficient, and compassionate, Susan is dedicated to making transitions seamless and stress-free for older adults. In her free time, Susan enjoys spending time with her family, knitting, hiking, and exploring health and wellness.
Lisa, a Needham native, brings both personal experience and creativity to New Roots Move Management, having transitioned her aging parent with dementia from a beloved home to assisted living. Her compassionate approach, combined with strong organizing and decluttering skills, helps her to design warm and safe living spaces for clients. As the creative force behind the team, Lisa’s passion for design shines through in every project. She also holds a Certificate of Study in Understanding the Needs of the Aging Client from ICD. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys tennis, sailing, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
