Last week, New Roots helped a fabulous lady named Ruth (let’s call her Ruth) from Newton begin her big move to Opus, the brand new Independent Living community being built by 2life Communities. Ruth and her late husband had lived in their home for over 50 years, so there was a lot to do.

 

Ruth hired us to prep her home for the market, which involved decluttering and downsizing by 60-75%. We packed away items she wouldn't need until later and recommended a cleaner for a deep clean. The house sold quickly!

 

After the sale, our team packed up the remaining contents of the house in just one day. (Isn't that a great photo of Margaret happily packing?) One of our project managers, Kim, oversaw the move out the next day. With her items in storage and the house nice and clean, Ruth is able to enjoy some restful time in the mountains until late September. Ruth commented, "I couldn't have done this without New Roots. They made the whole process so much easier and stress-free!" Cheers to a successful move!

 

New Roots will unpack and resettle Ruth at the end of September and we'll have another happy New Roots client!
